This was the least wintery winter we can remember, but it is still a noticeable difference to feel spring really arriving. Today was balmy and comfortable, transplanting in sandals. Peeper frogs are going to town with their songs. The kids have already forgotten what shoes and socks are. We’ll have to remind them when market day arrives…and when winter-like weather blows through again.
Regardless, it’s warm enough and light enough to allow some things to really start growing around here. We’ll have microgreens at market this weekend, and we’ll also have starts for sale to transplant salad greens into your own garden. We will have our tender mixed salad greens soon.
