Fridays. Are. Busy.

Fridays are full. Busy. Particularly this one.

And so I leave you with mostly images.

We are still very busy planting – as well as harvesting and planning for this winter and next season. But there’s a lot of time left for plants to keep growing here in 2012.

Look soon for information about joining our CSA for next year – new for 2013. Stay tuned for details if you are interested – or if you want to know what on earth a CSA is.

Oh geez – I forgot to take pictures of the land clearing that’s been happening – making room for our new greenhouse that arrives today!  Alas, that will save some photo opportunities for next week.

This week’s harvest includes:

Asian Greens, Arugula, Basil, Bell Peppers (purple, green, red, and orange), Braising Mix, Rainbow Chard, Green Beans, Green and Red Tomatoes, Jalapeno Peppers, Kale, Heads of Lettuce, Malabar Spinach, Microgreens, Okra, Onions, Radishes, Salad Mix, Shiitake Mushrooms (whoo hoo!) …and Eggs, Bread, and Bouquets of Flowers.

(Plus – at your request: we now have some Broadfork t-shirts for sale! Organic cotton. Limited quantities and sizes. We buy them for $20 each and are selling them for $20 each. We just would love to see some folks walking around wearing these beauties! Check with us at market.)

* Woodlake customers: We are scheduled to participate in the Fall Festival this Sunday, October 7th. Rumor has it that if it rains, it will be cancelled. So cross your fingers and stop by to visit us at our booth.

Reminder: Next Farm Tour: Oct 20th at 4:00 pm ~ To coincide with events for the week of National Food Day!

No fee, family friendly. Please, no pets.

Enjoy ~
