Our Farm Share Bag (consisting of the items in the Farm Share this week, in one easy to order option), Arugula, Basil, Chard, Collards, Eggplant, Garlic, Green Beans, Hearty Mix, Kale (three types), Okra, Pac Choi, Peppers (Sweet Banana, Bell, Padrone, Hungarian Wax, Anaheim, & Jalapeno), Onions (white), Radishes (two types), Sesame Leaf …and our new Garlic Loaf (Naturally Leavened, Hearth Baked Bread).

Farm Share CSA Members – This week’s share consists of: 

Onions OR Collards (you choose), Okra OR Squash (you choose), Peppers OR Eggplant (you choose), Kale, Hearty Mix, Radishes, Salad Mix, Garlic, and Tomatoes (of unknown quantity…we’ll see how they look Wednesday morning).

Recipe Suggestions: 

Best Kale Salad we’ve had in a long time (calls for walnuts, Romano cheese, and bread crumbs) (You can also make it with Collards, or any green.)

Sesame Pac Choi

Chicken Stir Fried with Pac Choi (substitute any protein you wish)

Roasted Radishes with Soy Sauce

Radish and Buttermilk Soup

Simple Radish Salad

** Public Farm Tour: Saturday, Sept 28, 4:00. Enjoy a walk around our farm with us as we describe our methods and why it’s important to grow diverse, organic vegetables on a small scale. No Fee, Family Friendly. Please – no pets.
