Tomato Glory! ….plus CSA & Mkt for 7.23.2016

This weekend’s Farm Share will most likely include:
Salad Mix, Lettuce Mix, Summer Squash, Sweet Pepper (orange or red in color), Tomatoes (slicing and cherry), Onions, Basil, Garlic

We hope everyone is eating and canning tomatoes to their hearts’ content.
It’s a beautiful and delicious time of year. And the hottest, so it’s hard to spend time in the kitchen preserving tomatoes. But we think it’s worth it. See multiple canning/preserving recipes below.

Basil, Chard, Cilantro, Eggplant, Garlic, Microgreens, Parsley, Bell Peppers, Salad Mix, Summer Squash (yellow and zucchini), Tomatoes…and our Organic Bread .

2016 Market Share CSA Members: Reserve your selection online to pick up Saturday, July 23rd at our farm, at the Brandermill Green Market, or at the Farmers Market @ St. Stephens. (Everything remaining after pre-orders will be available for purchase at the Brandermill Green Market and  at the Farmers Market @ St. Stephens.).

Pickled Onions (it calls for red…we do this with our white onions)
