Some weeks, we just have to seek out and focus on the beauty around us.
Sometimes we have to, as in the Quaker tradition, hold those we love in the light.
For our markets this weekend, harvest includes:
Chard, Chinese Cabbage, Collard Greens, Cucumbers (Green, or Salt & Pepper varieties), Dill, Head Lettuce (Red, Green Bibb, or Speckled Bibb, pictured above), Hakurei Turnips, Red Salad Turnips, Garlic Scapes, Juicing Greens, Curly Kale, Red Russian Kale, Toscano Kale, Kohlrabi, Mint, Salad Mix, Scallions, Summer Squash, Spinach, Sunflower Bouquets, Sunflower-plus-a-mix-of-other-Ornamentals Bouquets… and Multigrain Bread.

**Learn to Make Kimchi!**
Chop, season, and ferment some Kimchi with Janet, using our Chinese Cabbage, turnips, kohlrabi, and scallions. Each participant will go home with a quart jar of their own Kimchi.
Saturday, June 15th. 4:00-5:00 pm. $10 per person, here on the farm. Email us to register by Thursday, June 13th.
What’s Kimchi?
Essentially: naturally fermented cabbage and other vegetables, with usually some spicy additions. Kind of like pickled cabbage, think of it as a relish of sorts. We have fallen in love with it and put it on top of and/or beside many other things (salads, toast, eggs, meat, etc.)
