**Learn to Make Kimchi and Sauerkraut!**
Chop, season, and ferment some Kimchi or Sauerkraut with Janet, using our Chinese Cabbage, turnips, kohlrabi, and scallions. Each participant will go home with a quart jar of their own Kimchi (or sauerkraut).
Saturday, June 15th. 4:00-5:00 pm. $10 per person, here on the farm. Email us to register by Thursday, June 13th.
Essentially: naturally fermented cabbage and other vegetables, with usually some spicy additions. Kind of like pickled cabbage, think of it as a relish of sorts. We have fallen in love with it and put it on top of and/or beside many other things (salads, toast, eggs, meat, etc.)
We are at the Brandermill Green Market and South of the James Market this Saturday, and every Saturday from now until they close in the fall.
