We love potlucks because we get to try all sorts of other people’s cooking. And apparently we love them so much that we forget to take photos when we host one. Regardless, Thank you! to the marvelous folks members that joined us last Saturday for our CSA potluck. A huge thanks also to those that joined us for our tour – we love showing this farm scene to interested people! Photos by Sylvie, age 6:
Pragmatic photos by farmer parents:
It’s October now, so our Fall Farm Share has begun (predetermined bag of veggies for pick up on Wednesdays). Who knew it would be so hot and dry? Regardless, this season is far from over. Look at all the seeding still happening! Baby plants are growing. We are still trying to wish more water into our under-performing well. We are still collecting and sharing amazing recipes.
From the potluck, as best as we can figure: (email us your recipe if you haven’t yet, and we’ll post on Recipe page.)
Salsa Verde (highly recommended!)
And no one made this but it would have been great…

Sign up for our Fall Farm Share CSA shares continues on our website. This is where you get a predetermined share of veggies from us each week, picked up on Wednesdays in October and November. It started this week but if you sign up late we will pro-rate your share. Pick up is located on our farm, in Church Hill, and at any host home if there are at least 10 shares picking up there. Email us if you have interested neighbors and wish to be a host home! (Market Share Sign Up is also open, good for purchasing from us through the end of 2013.)
