Spring Farm Tour and Plant Sale

Transplants for your garden will be available for sale. Our Certified Naturally Grown standards apply to our transplants as well as our field-growing, so you know you are purchasing plants grown according to the national organic standards. We mix our own potting mix, using organic fertilizer and beneficial fungi. Visit to learn more and fill your garden.

Tours describe our Certified Naturally Grown farming practices, including permanent raised beds on contour, cover crops, farm-scale composting, bio-intensive planting, organic soil management, mulch for weed-suppression and other weed management practices, pest management, and macro- and micro-nutrient management.

Family friendly. No RSVP or fee required. Please – no pets.

We return to market this weekend! The winter version of the South of the James market is in Forest Hill Park, from 9am – 12pm on Saturday. Please stop by! (Brandermill Green Market opens May 3rd.)

2014 Market Share CSA Members: Choose your selection through our Online Store to order for pick up on Saturday at our farm, at Good Health Herbs from 9am – 12:30pm (in Brandermill), at the South of the James Market in Forest Hill Park from 9-12pm, or in the Byrd Park area of Richmond on Sunday morning (details in online store.)

Everyone else: Please sign up for our 2014 Market Share CSA and start placing orders now. Our Farm Stand will open up again once there is sufficient produce to stock it.

Our amazing Farm Share CSA provides you with a weekly share of vegetables on Wednesdays, May through September (summer season) in exchange for an investment in our farm in the preceding winter or spring.
